Saturday 15 February 2003 - Theatre Night In conjunction with the National Multicultural Festival and the Tuggeranong Arts Centre - CARBONI by John Romeril. Raffaello Carboni was one of the leaders of the Ballarat Eureka Rebellion in 1854. The night was a great success and resulted in a donation to the Canberra Bush Fire Appeal.

The Corowa Peoples' Conference - The conference was held over the weekend of 1st and 2nd December, 2001 in Corowa, NSW as it was the Corowa Conference of 1893 which put forward the process that enabled Australia to decide on Federation.

Richard Fidler is a long time member of the ARM and was a founding member of the 'Yes Coalition'. In 2001 he was elected to the ARM's National Committee and was recently appointed Deputy Chair replacing Anne Witheford.

He is a television writer and presenter and is a former member of Canberra's comedy trio the Doug Anthony Allstars. DAAS was born on the streets of Petrie Plaza as a busking group that would regularly assault the sensibilities of Saturday morning shoppers.

On Thursday 18 October 2001, Richard was joined by a full-house at the Republic restaurant.
